This intro is very effective despite the fact it uses no actual footage. The use of the constantly moving lines creates a jagged and eerie atmosphere, and the fast, deep-sounding music immediately sets us up as the audience for a thriller. I think we could employ the music style used in this opening as it is very effective for connoting danger and setting the audience up for a thriller film. Despite its age the use of the lines to show names is very different and I think we could also take something from this, using the off-key and creepy lines or a different method to show names. As it is very old, it is also mainly black and white, another aspect I would like to employ with security cameras in our film opening, as this is very effective for this kind of style.
